a most memorable dinner at levantis and some delicious extra early morning homemade latte iron&wine love time with three of my faves
and the beach, OH THE BEACH. on the island i thought i lived close to the ocean, i had nooo idea...
swimming in the aegean will always be one of my favourite things of life and also, dying of heat after 2 secs. of laying out.
both are way too good.
so anyways, the point of all this is that i left paros and it was so strange because even though i had been there for three months, i didn't quite feel finished with it.
i felt like there were a lot of places that i hadn't been, places i wanted to further explore and other locations within close proximity that i would have liked to have visited...
so i guess that's life.
ANYWAYS
since leaving paros i have been in athens with my mom for the past two days and WHAT THE HECK WE HAVE BEEN HAVING SO MUCH FUN!!!
seriously suchhh a blast. i am kind of starting to be down with athens, i def was not into it all before (athenians are still out of control).
yesterday we did the acropolis (woot) and the acropolis museum (which i especially loved because it was frieking awesome).
and THEN later we went to the national archaeological museum...
what the heck. it was so frieking cool, i want to live there.
+ there were octopodes everywhere... who knew?
+ my mom and i just have way too much fun, that's pretty much the bottom line.
today we went to delphi and it was basically mammoth and catalina + ancient ruins and it was way cool/weird.
there were some women on our tour that were professors in tehran and it further reminded me of how much i need/want to go east... like reallyyy need/want to.
in other news...
tomorrow we're leaving on the cruise (wtf, i know) BUT on saturday we're going to be in istanbul and allie bell and tay tay are going to be there, woo hoo!
too excited.
