AH! IT IS SO GOOD! i am freakiiing out.
and this is how the majority of my time has been spent...
sleeping : )
running/hiking
with the fam
readiiing (thru the whole Bible. fur re-eals.)
playing in the kitchen
... making lovely things & doing dishes : )
(yesterday i busted out la macchinetta & made legit espresso, wooot!)
and mostly just loving (everyyyy moment) that i do not have class for another month.
there have been a bunch of squid boats out in front of the harbour for the past few nights (since there are evidently GIANT SQUID squirting around) so tonight before dinner my dad and i went out to document and this is some of what we saw

i love being home. have i mentioned that yet?
on thursday i'm going overtown with the grandmothaaa to drive up to ventura to retrieve the pearl, back from battle.
thursday night i will be at biola which is, you know, THRILLING(!)
because
as much as i love being home, i miss miss miss my peeps at school. not the best thing ever.
tonight while doing the dishes, and gracing the parentals with the infectious sounds of lady gags, i turned around to see my dad looking out the window, flicking the outside lights on&off really fast (techno chocolate anyone?) and dancing.
holy cow. i love my dad.
and i love my mom. a lot. this afternoon we made scones and had tea time, it was ultra wonderful.
before all of this happened we went out to breakfast and then went on a hike.
HOW IS THIS REALLY MY LIFE?!
